Fighting inflammation through daily practice

Neuroinflammation, or inflammation in the brain, is linked to mental health issues, including depressive-like symptoms. Research is ongoing to identify potential treatments, but there are several strategies we can use to reduce neuroinflammation. Practices like mindfulness, proper sleep hygiene, regular exercise, and a healthy, whole-food plant-based diet can all help lower inflammation in the brain. Optimizing these aspects of life can improve mental health and overall well-being by reducing harmful inflammatory markers.

Dr. French discusses how neuroinflammation can affect our mental health and a few daily practices to reduce that inflammation.

What daily practices do we KNOW drive down inflammation? How can we as patients take back control of the inflammatory processes in our body and brains that are causing our symptoms?
